Math Club
During my middle and high school, I was part of the math club. I was part of small and national contests, winning some of them. This club taught me to be persistent, and to study hard to meet my goals. Volunteer Club When I was eight years old, my school created a volunteering club in order to help children of my age in poor conditions. We were dedicated to recollect food, clothes and school supplies for children living in poor zones. We also organized and gave Christmas lunch for working children in the streets. As a part of the volunteering club, I learned to appreciate what I have, and to try to provide similar opportunities to children because they are the future of our nations. |

Volunteer Club
In my first semester at Montgomery College, I joined the volunteering club but I could not attend the meetings. I am planning to rejoin the club because I want to help people, especially students, who do not have the same opportunities that I have. |
Latino Student Union Club
I plan to join this club because I want to embrace my latino heritage. Addressing important and current issues about immigration is also one of my biggest concerns regarding latino communities. Therefore, as part of this club I hope to find solutions to this issue. I also want to change's people thought about latino culture by highlighting our rich history and culture. |
